A Wicked Adulterous Generation That Hates Truth
We live in a generation where many people have a me mentality first. There primary concerns are themselves and living life how they want to. Today’s generation has called good evil and evil is called good (Isaiah 5:20). God’s truth has come to offend many people when it is preached or even written online. Many people are quick to say thou shall not judge but yet they judge every day. Many people have no problem obeying their boss, police officers, judges, the law etc. However, they seem to have a problem when God’s word is preached and when God’s people tell them to repent or perish. Many people are quick to dress up for the next job interview or quick to follow their job’s dress code but yet they get mad when God says to flee sins such as fornication or adultery. They get mad and are willing to argue with Christians and try to downplay God’s word. They say that the bible is a man made book but yet the bible goes against man’s natural desires showcasing proof of a holy God. Even the bible itself says to judge righteously (John 7:24) and he who is spiritual judges all things (1 Corinthians 2:15). We all judge to some extent which can be good or bad depending on the context. Judgment can be good as it is a sign of common sense and wisdom used to help enhance us. For example, if you saw a 6 ft 5 man walking down the street with a ski mask and a machete in his hand staring you down while smiling viciously. Your response most likely would be to cross the street, run away or call the police. Yes, you judged the person before anything happened but that judgment could have potentially saved your life. Discernment from God itself is a form of judgment which is good because it helps to discern if a situation, person or place is good for you or not. We all know that we are judged which is why we put on our best clothes and look our best as we know people will look at us based on how we carry ourselves. If you truly say thou shall not judge then why don’t you go to work with your pants sagging with your hair uncombed with dirty shoes and a tank top on. You can tell your boss thou shall not judge but guess what, you would have to obey your job’s dress code or be terminated on the spot. If we can take our boss, police officer or judge serious then why not take God serious. God is serious and he means every word that he says which is why it is crucial to obey God. God will judge you on Judgment Day based off his word making it important to follow God. If God’s word says that fornicators will not inherit the Kingdom Of Heaven ( 1 Corinthians 6:9), that is how he will judge an unrepented fornicator on Judgment Day. Nobody can save you from Gods judgment not even your favorite preacher who will stand in front of God as well. When Christians warn you to repent and turn from sin, they are not looking down on you as we came from sin and God saved us. However, they are trying to help you as they know how hot hell/ Lake of Fire is. When someone truly loves you, they will tell you when your wrong to help you do better as a person rather than be a yes man. It’s best to listen to God and his true servants who are trying to help you. Rather than you go down your own path and suffer in eternal fire forever. God bless
